PASO amplifies the sound of justice

On November 25, 2022, the Zheleznodorozhny District Court held a regular court hearing in a well-known group case involving several dozen lawyers.

Thanks to the constructive interaction of the Chamber of Advocates of the Samara Region, the Judicial Department and the leadership of the court, the process literally moved into the category of the loudest.

On the initiative and active participation of the Chamber of Lawyers, the courtroom was equipped with modern sound amplifying equipment, which allowed not only the court, but all those present not to miss a single word uttered by witnesses, state prosecutors and human rights activists.

“Attorneys repeatedly encounter certain technical difficulties in mass trials with a large number of defendants. Therefore, it is in our common interests to remove all obstacles that hinder the work of a lawyer, and hence justice, - commented Tatyana Butovchenko, President of the PASO, commenting on an unprecedented event for the legal system. - The Chamber of Lawyers of the Samara Region, in accordance with its statutory goals, contributes to the high-quality performance of professional functions by lawyers, improving the working conditions of their colleagues as far as possible. We are pleased that our positive message was supported by the judiciary, and we expect that after this process is completed, the equipment provided by PASO will be used in other court proceedings, if necessary.”
