In memory of the legendary lawyer

At the age of 97, the master of the Samara advocacy, a participant in the Great Patriotic War, Daniil Matveyevich Minitser, passed away.

D.M. Minitzer was born on December 1, 1924 in a working-class family. In 1932 he entered the school. “While studying in high school, I read a collection of speeches by Russian lawyers of the 19th century and was imbued with great sympathy for people in this profession. After that, he dreamed of getting a law degree and becoming a lawyer. However, this dream had to wait, as the Great Patriotic War began, ”Daniil Matveevich recalled. At the age of 17 he was sent to a military school, and by the age of 18 he had already participated in the battles on the Stalingrad front. He served as a grenade launcher, had military awards for bravery, stamina and courage shown in battle.

… “I was lucky. I was wounded four times, but returned home. I participated in the battles in the Stalingrad region and in the Rostov region. In March 1943 - in the battles for the liberation of Donbass, in which he was wounded twice.

In 1952 he graduated from the Kuibyshev branch of the VYUZI and in the same year was accepted as an intern at the legal consultation office No. 4. The mentor was the lawyer A.S. Henkin. And in April 1953, a young lawyer D.M. Minitser became the head of the Elkhovsky District Consultation. In consultation, he was the only lawyer and sometimes had to solve very difficult questions for a beginner.

Daniil Matveyevich devoted half a century of his life to advocacy. His work biography is a special page in the annals of the Samara bar, as he was gifted with a spark of God, thanks to which the work of a lawyer became a creative process. And if he got down to business, the principals could let out a sigh of relief, making sure that their fate was in the hands of a professional.

After retiring for a well-deserved rest, Daniil Matveyevich continued to take an active interest in the life of the bar in the Samara region, willingly met with colleagues, shared his life and professional experience.
