The education and enlightenment of young people, increasing legal literacy is something that should be worked on not only by educational institutions, but also by all institutions of civil society.

The topic of legal education of schoolchildren and students (non-legal specialties) is not new and is gaining momentum every year.

The legal community has never stood aside, actively participating through the efforts of individual lawyers and legal entities in various educational projects.

Legal education of students as a direction of activity for the Council of the Chamber of Advocates of the Samara Region is a new area. There is a lot of work to be done, and we hope for the success of the undertaking.

One of the starting points for the new segment of the activities of the Council of Educational Platforms, which allowed lawyers to share knowledge and experience with students of secondary specialized educational institutions, was a series of events organized by the Samara Municipal Budgetary Institution "Samara Youth House". The events were held within the framework of the municipal program "Prevention of offenses in the territory of the Samara urban district".

The organizers attracted the attention of young people by transforming the lecture material into an entertaining quest - a game: "I choose the right." The discussion platform, held at the end of the game with the participation of representatives of law enforcement and human rights bodies, showed the interest of the audience in this format, allowed in an open dialogue to discuss issues of legal responsibility, effective mechanisms for protecting the rights and legitimate interests of young people.

Member of the PASO Council Eremina Yu.V., who participated in the series of events as a speaker: “I believe that this format of the event is interesting and informative for students and pupils, since it allows not only listening and asking legal questions to speakers, but also in a game form to apply the existing legal knowledge.

In the process of quest games, participants check their legal literacy. It is very interesting to observe students of various educational institutions, namely, how they answer questions of a legal nature in the “I have a question” section; express their opinion on various situations set by the host in the “Your opinion” section. In the "Help" section, participants work with a psychologist.

I believe that such events should be held regularly among young people. Practice shows that a person who has legal information and is familiar with typical behaviors in extreme situations is much more likely not to break the law.”
