Learning is light!

On October 11, the Chamber of Advocates of the Samara Region hosted a seminar to improve the professional level of lawyers. The announced program of the seminar aroused keen interest among lawyers - the PASO conference hall was full.

The first speaker was the head of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology, Psychotherapy and Clinical Psychology of the Samara State Medical University Romanov Dmitry Valentinovich, a psychiatrist with more than twenty years of professional experience and numerous regalia. His speech was devoted to mental disorders, their types and manifestations. The lecture was accompanied by numerous examples from practice, which made it lively and extremely understandable. At the end of the lecture, the speaker answered numerous questions from lawyers about the activities of a psychiatrist in case of involuntary hospitalization of a patient, the features of interaction with a mentally disturbed person, etc.

The second part of the seminar was devoted to the promotion of lawyers on the Internet. The lecturer was Anton Praskovyin, business coach, consultant on creating and promoting a personal brand in social networks. He covered in detail the features of promotion on the Internet, the social network VKontakte, taking into account the latest changes in this platform, as well as the mistakes that lawyers should avoid using social networks to interact with potential clients.

The seminar ended with a short speech by the PASO President.

Tatyana Dmitrievna focused the attention of the participants of the training event on the restrictions regarding the behavior of lawyers when using the resources of the Internet space. She gave examples of unacceptable behavior, which entail the application of not only disciplinary measures, but also bringing lawyers to criminal liability.
