Samara lawyers have selected the team for the All-Russian "White Queen" Championship.

On May 31, the Samara Chess Lounge hosted a qualifying rapid chess tournament for lawyers from the Samara Region, organized by the Samara Region Bar Association. Fifteen representatives of the region's legal associations participated in this intellectual competition, vying for the right to represent the Samara Region at the All-Russian Chess Championship for Lawyers, "White Queen."

The tournament, conducted using the Swiss system in seven rounds under the direction of International Arbiter Stanislav Yanushevsky, was a tense and exciting competition. Participants were given 15 minutes and 5 seconds to consider each move.

The tournament's winners and the Samara Region team were determined:

1st place: Oleg Bezman (Samara)

2nd place: Roman Cherny (Zhigulyovsk)

3rd place: Vyacheslav Pankov (Samara)

The tournament winners will represent the Samara Region at the All-Russian "White Queen" Championship, where they will compete against the strongest lawyer chess players from across Russia. We wish our athletes good luck!
