The new recruitment for the Young Lawyer's School is ending.

In accordance with the Regulations of the Young Lawyer's School, training is mandatory for those who have entered into an internship agreement. Without training at the Young Lawyer's School, an intern cannot be admitted to the Qualification Exam for attorney status.

Along with interns, paralegals, law students, and Russian citizens with an educational document that qualifies them for attorney status in accordance with Federal Law No. 63-FZ "On Advocacy and the Bar in the Russian Federation" may be admitted to the School on a competitive basis.

List of documents to be attached to the application:

Interns – a copy of the internship agreement, a copy of their higher education diploma, and a CV;
Advocate's paralegals and university graduates – a copy of their higher education diploma, a resume, and a motivation letter;
Students – a certificate from their place of study confirming their enrollment, academic performance information, resume, and motivation letter.

Up-to-date contact information, such as phone number and email, is required.

Applicants will undergo an interview, after which a candidate will be selected and training will begin.

Classes at the Young Lawyer's School are held once a week and last between one and a half and two hours. The training includes homework and participation in scientific and practical events organized by the School and the Samara Region Bar Association. The goal of the training is to prepare applicants for the Qualification Exam to become lawyers and begin independent professional practice. Since the School accepts applicants who already have or are completing a law degree, the training does not include academic lectures on specific areas of the law. The focus is on legislative and corporate regulations governing lawyers' activities and their practical application, as well as the specifics of lawyers' work in specific categories of cases. The training format is primarily practice-oriented, rather than lecture-based.

Training at the Young Lawyer's School is free for students. It is funded by the Samara Region Bar Association from monthly contributions from lawyers for the upkeep of the Bar.

Attendance at classes and other educational events as scheduled, as well as completing homework, is mandatory for students. Failure to comply with the schedule or discipline will result in expulsion.

During their year at the Young Lawyer's School, students undergo two internal knowledge assessments: a midterm and a final (graduation) assessment. The format of the final assessment is identical to the oral portion of the Qualification Exam for Attorney Status. The report, signed by the President of the Samara Region Bar Association following the final exam, serves as a document certifying completion of the Young Lawyer's School. For trainees, this is one of the mandatory documents required for admission to the qualification exam. It is kept in the Samara Region Bar Association's records and does not require separate submission. Graduates will not be issued a certificate of completion.
