Representatives of the legal community took part in a joint meeting of the Student Scientific Circle of the Department of Medical Law and Bioethics and the Medical-Legal Clinic of Samara State Medical University

A joint meeting of the Student Scientific Circle of the Department of Medical Law and Bioethics and the Medical-Legal Clinic was held at the Boiling Point of Samara State Medical University on April 30.

The meeting was attended by experts:

Aleksey Valerievich Kokin – lawyer, Chairman of the Qualification Commission of the Chamber of Advocates of the Samara Region;

Natalya Yuryevna Sukhova – lawyer, vice-president of the Chamber of Advocates of the Samara Region.

The meeting was moderated by Tatyana Dmitrievna Ivanova – lawyer, member of the council of the Chamber of Advocates of the Samara Region, associate professor of the Department of Medical Law and Bioethics, PhD in Law.

Students participating in the scientific work of Samara State Medical University presented their scientific reports at the meeting.

The topic of the problems of disposal of biomaterials in assisted reproductive technologies, the right of ownership of sex cells aroused great interest.

The experts noted the high level of preparation of the speakers and the quality of the presentations, all participants of the meeting supported the idea of ​​regularly holding events dedicated to the legal aspects of the activities of medical workers.
