The Best Websites of Bar Associations – 2023

The jury of the 2023 Lawyer Website Competition announced the winners of the competition in the "Bar Association Websites" category. The evaluation was carried out in the nominations "For the Quality of Website Performance" and "For the Quality of Website Content". In both nominations, the winner was the Bar Association of the Samara Region, which had previously repeatedly won first place in similar competitions. Second and third places in these nominations were taken by the Bar Associations of Moscow and the Moscow Region.

A special feature of the 2023 Lawyer Website Competition was that, unlike the competitions of previous years, the jury evaluated the websites of only those bar associations that had submitted applications. Moreover, each chamber had the opportunity to submit an application in any of the two nominations - "For the Quality of Website Performance" or "For the Quality of Website Content" - or in both at once. Most of the applications contained the intention of the chambers to participate in two nominations. As a result, 14 applications were accepted for participation in the nomination "For the quality of website execution" in the specified category, and 16 applications in the nomination "For the quality of website content".

In the nomination "For the quality of website execution", the jury assessed the design and interface of the website, its convenience for the user, adaptability, subscription and feedback options, the interaction of the website with social networks and messengers, relevance (compliance with modern trends), interesting technical solutions, etc.

After summing up the results in this nomination, the winners were:

1st place - Chamber of Advocates of the Samara Region (website https://paso.ru/);

2nd place - Bar Association of the City of Moscow (website https://www.advokatymoscow.ru/)

3rd place - Bar Association of the Moscow Region (website https://apmo.ru/).

In the nomination "For the quality of website content" the completeness and correctness of the content of the reference sections of the website, the activity of filling the dynamic sections (news, documents, opinions, useful articles, photos, videos, etc.), compliance of all website content with the requirements of current legislation and corporate acts, the desire for corporate unity (posting links to websites and media of the governing bodies of the law firm, posting publications from these resources) were assessed.

The following three leaders were formed in this nomination:

1st place - Chamber of Advocates of the Samara Region (website https://paso.ru/);

2nd place - Bar Chamber of the Moscow Region (website https://apmo.ru/);

3rd place - Bar Chamber of the City of Moscow (website https://www.advokatymoscow.ru/).

The winners will be awarded diplomas of the Federal Chamber of Advocates of the Russian Federation and a subscription to printed and electronic issues of the "Advokatskaya Gazeta".

Good marks were given to the websites of the chambers created using the standard model developed by order of the Federal Chamber of Lawyers of the Russian Federation. These are the websites of the Chamber of Lawyers of Primorsky Krai, the Chamber of Lawyers of Leningrad Oblast and the Chamber of Lawyers of Stavropol Krai, which took 4th and 5th places in different nominations.
