The Zhigulevsk session of the All-Russian Criminal Law Forum opened in Samara

The forum is held with the support of the Federal Chamber of Advocates of the Russian Federation and the Chamber of Advocates of the Samara Region. The event brought together more than 100 people on one discussion platform - lawyers, representatives of the legislative and judicial authorities, experts and journalists. Participants who came to Samara from different regions discuss pressing issues of criminal proceedings, exchange experiences, and develop common approaches to solving problems.

The forum began with a panel discussion on current issues of law enforcement practice in criminal proceedings caused by the imperfection of the law, ways and means of eliminating them using lawmaking tools. The discussion is attended by the State Duma deputy Sardana Avksentyeva, deputy head of the "New People" faction, advisers to the FPA RF, lawyers - Evgeny Rubinstein and Dmitry Taraborin.

The event's busy business program includes two more panel discussions: "Violation of the right to defense in court proceedings" (moderator - Andrey Karnomazov, PhD in Law, associate professor, PASO lawyer, managing partner of the Pravy Bereg Law Firm) with the participation of Evgenia Zeidlits, an honorably retired judge, senior lecturer in the Department of Criminal Procedure Law of the North-West Branch of the Russian State University of Justice, and "Issues of covering high-profile criminal cases in the media, the correct use of special terms and formulations, objective presentation of material." During the day, lawyers and experts will present reports on practical issues to their colleagues:
Evgeny Tonkov, lawyer, PhD in Law, Chairman of the Commission for the Protection of Professional Rights of Lawyers of the Leningrad Region Bar Association, Associate Professor of the North-West Institute of Law of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (topic: “Is there a standard of proof in criminal proceedings?”)

Yuri Kirilenkov, forensic medical expert, lawyer, postgraduate student of the University named after Griboyedov in the direction of "criminal and legal sciences" (topic - "Features of the application of specialist knowledge in criminal proceedings when challenging conclusions on the causes of death and the severity of harm caused to the health of the victim")

Artur Bolshakov, lawyer, expert at the Commissioner for the Rights of Entrepreneurs of Moscow, speaker of the law school "Statut" (topic - "Oratory. Skills that help a lawyer")
