PASO QUALIFICATION COMMISSION MEETING 13.08.

The commission considered 13 disciplinary proceedings.
The proceedings were attended by 4 lawyers who appeared at the hearing to defend their own position, and one lawyer who represented the interests of the applicant.
Based on the results of consideration:
- in 3 cases, the actions of lawyers were found to be violations of the legislation governing advocacy and (or) improper performance of obligations to the client;
- 4 lawyers were found guilty of non-fulfillment of the obligation on monthly deductions for the maintenance of the bar association;
- 4 disciplinary proceedings were terminated due to the proper performance of professional duties;
- 2 disciplinary proceedings were postponed for additional evidence collection.
The meeting of the PASO Council, at which the final decisions on the conclusions made, will be made, will take place on August 27, 2020.
